we were lucky that our cats were of very little interest to the daisy. and daisy was pretty lucky that they always kept their claws sheathed when batting at her rump as she passed by. i think we were all quite lucky, all around.

waiting
waiting somewhat anxiously to find out if our possible foster dog gets along with cats. or, possibly more accurately, if she goes bonkers when a cat is wafted by her. not that that's a foolproof indicator of how a dog will do when meeting the resident cats, but it's a start.

p.s. you know that song, that you don't know what you've got till it's gone? i really thought we did, but it turns out, we didn't, not completely. big props to the daisy. best treeing walker coonhound ever.
