wanted: hard drive space

So, it turns out that you can take so many pictures that you run out of hard drive space and can't upload any more. Gosh, how is that even possible? :) And no, I don't trust the external hard drive. But it looks like I'll have to get over that little worry if I ever want to post another photo. Echhh, technology.

holidays and baseball

we're just back from an extended holiday, and are still basking in the experience. :)

already we're in the thick of the baseball season (hooray!) with the home team now boasting a 2-10 record. no complaints here - we are already fans of "Zimmerman Jr" and the new bullpen.


(if only this included BSG's MLBtv take on Belliard -- priceless. still, his VG is worth the wait.)

facebook = evil... well, 'good' evil

wow. what a timesuck that turned out to be! ... and yet, it's put me back in touch with so many dear friends from lives past. i think we're forging a new demographic. but i have high hopes of returning to this more spastic forum, very very soon.

the spouse sees the world very differently than i do, which is generally a delightful thing. today, upon seeing a local church's message board, he delivered the following gem.

me: "God Bless You, Mr. President." hmm. which one do you think they mean?
spouse: I guess whichever one sneezed.
