the not-great thing is that our girl is down to just 56 pounds, almost as skinny as when she first came home. she's really little more than skin and bones. even her tail is skinnier. but we have at least three reasons to be happy: she ate well today, which should begin to translate into some good weight gain. her platelets have more than doubled since last friday. and, we have started chemo in earnest.
we are hopeful some serious cancer-cell killing is now underway. onwards we go.
