minor accomplishments

1. put 6" of holiday catalogs in the recycling bin. now to get them to take us off the mailing lists...
2. gathered clothing for donation, including six pairs of pants that no longer fit and likely never will again, even though they all arrived within the last year. now my closet is occupied by pants that do fit, but are mostly 10-15 years old... fashion maven, i am not
3. started laundry
4. finished dishes
5. did a bit of vacuuming
6. made semi-progress with work (day job, eh?)
7. sent car in for annual inspection, courtesy of spouse; unfortunately car battery gave out afterwards, far from the mechanics' garage... she will be 15 this year but i'd swear that battery is only 2-3 years old itself
   
8. sorted more crap into piles to be filed, shredded, recycled
9. fished cat toys out from under the stove
   
10. sat quietly and reflected on the many ways we are so very fortunate... highly recommend making this one into a habit!
